About the event

The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) is hosting a day-long workshop on Thursday, January 11th, 2018.  Coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided.

The workshop will have sessions on a wide variety of pedagogical and instructional technology topics, including: Course Design, The Art of Lecturing, Active Learning Approaches, Designing Effective Writing and Research Assignments, Online Learning, Course Site topics (assignments, quizzes, and grade book), Creating Instructional Videos, Instructional Uses of WordPress, and Virtual Reality in Education.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the new Course Site upgrade, discuss teaching with colleagues and CITL staff, and to warm up your teaching skills for the spring semester. Our new Visualization lab will be open for tours and demonstrations, as well as our data center.

Please register by 9:00 am, Monday, Jan 7th.

All workshops will be held in the EWFM Library and Computing Center.  We will email registrants on the afternoon of the 8th with registration confirmation and workshop session locations.
